Martha and I just returned from a 2 week ministry in New Brunswick, Canada. I preached in five different churches while there and saw that a small remnant in each church is vitally interested in knowing how to prepare for what's ahead for the church in particular and society in general.

For the most part I believe the church is in a spiritual coma and is completely unaware of the critical situation through which we are currently going, but this small remnant is beginning to wake up and pray. That's all it takes to usher in a Spiritual Awakening and Revival. If you study the history of revivals, as I have, for the past several years, you will find that each and every one was preceeded and sustained by fervant prayer. Each one started with just a small remnant who had a hunger to see God glorified in the midst of His people once again and set themselves to praying.

Hosea the prophet declared,
"Sow for yourselves righteousness; Reap in mercy; Break up your fallow ground, For it is time to seek the LORD, Till He comes and rains righteousness on you." Hosea 10:12

I want to urge each of you who are reading this to head Hosea's admonition and join with that little remnant that is praying for another outpouring of God's Spirit upon His church.
